Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine Research trainees have earned numerous young scholar and early career awards from national societies such as American Psychosomatic Society, American Psychological Association Division 38, The Obesity Society, the Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society, and North American Menopause Society, as well as Loan Repayment awards from the NIH.  They have successfully competed for K01, K23, NARSAD, and NCI Career Development awards, and a National Science Foundation fellowship.

Our program boasts an admirable track record in placement of trainees in academic positions.  Over the past 15 years, 92% of program graduates
(and 94% of postdoctoral trainees) are employed in academic institutions.

The map below shows the current institutions of our former scholars
(2006-present).

The CVBM program holds a biweekly ideas seminar series attended by faculty and trainees.
